Module 4: Art prevails, sustainability and continuity

How can expressive arts create lasting impact beyond the program?

This module explores how expressive arts practices can be sustained beyond individual sessions to support ongoing well-being, connection, and resilience for newcomer participants. Building on previous modules, it examines how sustainability can be fostered through participant experiences, facilitation practices, organizational learning, and community partnerships. Drawing on insights from the HEAL Project – Hubs of Expressive Arts for Life, learners will explore practical strategies for embedding expressive arts into participants’ everyday lives, organizations, and communities to promote long-term healing, continuity, and meaningful engagement.
